  • 36 months (depending on employer) plus End Point Assessment
  • Level 3

Overview:

As a Science Manufacturing Technician, you will operate the systems and equipment involved in the production of products. Working both independently and part of a team, you will follow appropriate Standard Operating Procedures to operate manufacturing batch or continuous processes.

Entry Requirements:

Entry requirements may vary but are typically GCSE Grades 9-4 (or A*-C) in maths, English and a science subject.

What will I study?

Learners undertaking this apprenticeship will cover as minimum:

  • Health, Safety and Environment

  • Maintenance of Plant Systems and Components

  • Fault Finding

  • Manufacture and Assemble Components

  • Engineering Documentation

  • Continuous Performance Improvement

What qualifications will I achieve?

On successful completion of this apprenticeship learners will achieve:

  • Apprenticeship in Science Industry Maintenance Technician

  • Level 3 Diploma in Installing Engineering Construction Plant and Systems (RQF)
