





The aim of the level 3 bridging programme is to prepare candidates for entry onto the Foundation Degree Plant Engineering programmes. It may be some time since potential candidates have studied in further education and this programme will provide students with the opportunity to review areas such as mathematics, electrical / electronic engineering, mechanical engineering, nuclear fundamentals. It also provides candidates with the appropriate study skills in preparation for studies on an undergraduate programme.
The course has been specifically designed to provide a seamless transfer to the first year of Gen2’s foundation degree programmes.
Normally studied on a full-time basis over a period of 16 weeks, this can be tailored to be studied on a two day per week basis, dependent upon the requirements of the candidate.
Available from the Gen2 centres in Energus, Carlisle and Ulverston.

Students attend 5 days per week
On completion of this course students will have a seamless transfer to the Foundation Degree.
